Excellent service from this pharmacy following emergency medication required whilst on holiday. Many thanks to the staff for a very speedy service.

Poor service and staff off-hand , verging on rude. The sign on door clearly stated ‘open at 1pm’ but no one appeared until nearly 1.10pm leaving several customers waiting in the cold, wet weather. I’m sure Lloyds Pharmacy can afford to employ adequate staff to cover the lunchtime period so I don’t see the need to close at lunchtime at all. Clearly an example of putting profits before people. I

Do not answer their phone! Rang this chemist several times over 2 days to check on status of my prescriptions. This is my first time using this pharmacy in Chard. As I am mobile disabled, I’m very dependent on accessing services via the phone and online. Truly hope there is a chemist in town with better customer service.

This is by far the worst pharmacy in Chard. The majority of the staff are rude or have no idea what you're talking about. They can't get their heads around a simple repeat batch order. The doctor had requested that two months of my husband's medicine always be in stock, and everytime I go in to collect, its a different excuse, a different procedure. My husband rang 267 times (not joking) in one morning to see if his prescription had been filled, no answer. So I went in and no, no prescription filled. They had two prescriptions for my husband, only because they had taken so long to fill the first one we had reordered it from the doctors. Went straight to boots instead and was sorted out within 5 mins, and the repeat batch order is a simple straightforward normal thing. Won't be bothering with lloyds again. Terrible, absolute joke.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. We moved to the area recently and have been shocked by how awful this pharmacy is. They never have anything in (I mean even quite standard medication, nothing unusual), frequently close at random times during the day (annoying when you’ve walked 30 minutes into town to go get your prescription), but the main thing is the attitude. When you go in, it’s like you’re a bother. They ask you if you really NEED the prescription and when it was sent through. This morning, I stood there as white as a ghost and clearly in pain and they asked me if it was urgent. I have a stomach ulcer, so yes it is. They then proceeded to tell me they'll have to order it in. I asked for the prescription to take elsewhere which didn’t go down very well. Took it to Boots down the road and the woman there laughed because she said it’s such a common medication. If you’re happy to wait days for standard meds, longer than you need to in a queue because of staff chatting and receive terrible service, then this pharmacy is for you!

I have had enough now! Almost two years, tell me to collect on a certain date/ time and tell me to come back even then as it’s not ready! Never answer the phone and close or are not open more regularly leaving me in pain with no medication

Brookside ,Chard is shut yet again when the internet states it’s open, why the hell don't you update the system to avoid customers wasting their time and fuel cost to arrive and find it closed yet again. If a prescription is ready and signed off by the pharmacist, why can’t they stay open to issue prescription, all they have to do is hand it over, are we still living in the 1940. Come on Lloyds Brookside Pharmacy, get your act sorted. Will have to change from this Pharmacy from now on

The sign on the door states they open at 8.30am, Google says the same but stood outside the Pharmacy from 8.30am until 9.15am and nothing. Called them 5 times during this period and nobody answered the phone! Shambles.

By far the worst pharmacy in Chard, every time I go in to pick up a prescription there’s always an excuse of oh we haven’t received that one yet or we need 24 hrs to process it yet when I called a few hours previously they tell you yes we have received it and it will be ready at such a such time. The best one was the pharmacy receiving an urgent script for antibiotics yesterday for me to go to the surgery this afternoon to be told this won’t be ready until tomorrow, REALLY it’s for a chest infection not really a great idea to leave it for another 24hrs untreated, couple of minutes later they say come back in 30 mins we will have it ready for you, after returning one and half hour later guess what it’s still not ready, after then waiting an additional 20 mins it’s finally ready. AVIOD not worth the hassle or the stress.
