Very happy to recommend Julua and Embers Fires and Flues Ltd. This is the second time we’ve used her to sweep and check our chimney. On both occasions she replied promptly to our emailed enquiries to arrange the visit. On the day, she arrived at the agreed time and got on with the job at hand without delay. The room with the wood burner has a plain cream-coloured carpet we ‘inherited’ on moving in. Having the chimney swept is therefore regarded with some trepidation! In the event Julua carried out the work without leaving a single speck of dirt. In addition to sweeping your chimney, Julua will inspect it and test for draw/leakages/etc., providing a certificate to that effect. She also offered some free and helpful advice on another chimney in the house that we rarely use. Julua is always friendly, professional and informative and on this latest visit, was accompanied by Adam, a chimneysweep in training. He clearly took his lead from Julua, conducting himself in a similar manner. Overall, an excellent service at a very reasonable price.
